In partnership with the Greenville Downtown Airport, this event is free and open to the public.
The GGMF Aviation Expo is a community wide aviation experience designed to strengthen workforce pathways while honoring and supporting those who served.
Families, students, veterans, aviation professionals, and supporters are invited to gather for a day that highlights opportunity, service, and legacy.
This event reflects our mission. We honor sacrifice. We invest in the next generation. And we build a stronger aviation community together.

Veterans often experience a gap between what they need to live and what their pay provides.
Every veteran faces challenges in life just like the rest of us. But unfortunately, what they earn from their government pay often fails to cover the unexpected expenses life throws at them:
- A newly enlisted member of the military often earns about $21,000 per year, which is less than the starting pay for many entry-level civilian jobs.
- Uniquely challenging factors include frequent relocations, deployments, and limited opportunities for career advancement.
It feels unfair that they answered the call to serve their country, but they don’t get the support they need to live.
Our mission is twofold.
First, we are here to support local military families during times of hardship.
Second, the foundation exists to help educate and encourage youth to explore a career in aviation. We accomplish both of these mission objectives by providing flight training scholarships, aviation education grants, and emergency monetary relief for military families in need.

In the military, a pilot’s flight crew works to ensure the safe and successful completion of each mission. When you join Flight Crew with your monthly gift, you’re becoming a member of a veteran’s personal flight crew, ensuring they have the support they need to face and rise above the challenges life throws at them. Because when their mission ends, it’s not over.
